Mandatory Operations Workshop Scheduled
The Mandatory Operations Workshop that must be completed by 01 June will be given at our Pizza Dinner Meeting on 27 May at the Bixby Riviera Clubhouse. If you are crew qualified you must attend this workshop to perform Crew or Coxswain duties for the balance of the year. PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR NOW!!!

Flotilla Raft-Up Announced
The annual Flotilla 33 Raft-Up will be be at the Navy Mole, Long Beach on Sunday, April 27 starting at Noon.

Flotilla 33 Loses One of It's Own
Flotilla 33 VFC Bill Hufeld died of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday March 4. Details from the Hufeld family are here. We hope as many Flotilla 33 members as possible will pay their respects.

Flotilla Launches New Web Site
Newly appointed FSO-CS Russell Sipe has designed a new Flotilla 33 web site. Sipe brings twenty years of experience in creating online publications and communities to the appointment.

Bob Vatz elected to lead Flotilla 33 in 2003
Bob Vatz has been elected Flotilla Commander (FC) of Flotilla 33 for 2003. This is Bob's 3rd tour of duty as FC of 33. He has also served two terms as FC of 11-10. Bill Hufeld has been elected as Flotilla Vice Commander (VFC). Bill Scholz steps down as the 2002 FC and becomes the flotilla's IPFC (Immediate Past Flotilla Commander).

Annual Meeting is a Resounding Success
District 11s anticipated 350 attendees at the annual meeting held on January 3-5 at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa. By early Saturday 503 attendees had signed up.
