U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 5-12 (District 11s) is located in Long Beach California and conducts missions in and around the two of the largest port complexes in the U.S.:  Los Angeles  and Long Beach.  If we sound familiar, we are.  On January 1, 2010 Flotilla 33 of Long Beach got a new designation and became Flotilla 5-12.

The purpose of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary (CGAUX) is to assist the Coast Guard to:

Promote safety and to effect rescues on and over the high seas and on navigable waters
Promote efficiency in the operation of motorboats and yachts
Foster a wider knowledge of, and better compliance with, the laws, rules, and regulations governing the operation of motorboats and yachts and to facilitate other operations of the Coast Guard.

Our Flotilla Meetings are open to the public

We would like to extend this invitation to meet with us on the fourth Tuesday of each month between February and November at :
